A soft lightweight silk originally woven in the gum on hand looms in Japan. Suitable for use in fashion and traditionally used as a lining fabric. As with most of our lighter silk fabrics it is difficult to achieve perfectly straight printed lines as found in a border or scarf print. Printed colour is fresh and lively.
